Completing the parts request

The Parts Department is responsible for reviewing and updating parts pricing and availability for the approved services and recommendations. This can be done using the Recommendation page or the Parts List page as described next.

Note: With future releases, the Parts Advisor will be able to perform all parts-related steps on the Parts List page. Currently, they must still use the Recommendation page to add parts for recommendations (unless added by the Technician or imported from StarParts file or Service Library). The Parts Advisor should be consistent in using either this page or the Recommendation page for completing the RO's parts requests.
